F.L.I.G.H.T Starts On The 13

F.L.I.G.H.T (Finding Life in God’s Heavenly Truth) starts Sunday September
13th.. 9:00AM we will meet in the Fish Bowl Room.

Youth Group starts (6:45) September 9th after potluck (6:00)

Youth Group and flight are for grades 6th-12th grade.

Sunday School is about to begin!!

The Christian Ed committee met and decided to offer “Sunday School” on Wednesdays only. WOW will once again meet, following potluck at First Christian Church from 6:45 until 7:45 PM. We will offer classes for 2 year olds through fifth grade. Mid and Senior High youth will meet for youth group, and Pastor Kent will once again lead an adult class. There will be no Sunday morning lesson for 2 year olds through 5th grade until we have more adequate classroom space.

We are still looking for TEACHERS for a couple of our classes. If you are interested in teaching, or if you have questions about programming, please contact Kathie at kathiewingert@yahoo.com or 242-9682.

Youth information!

There is a short Mission Stay meeting after church THIS SUNDAY in the fish bowl room. If you or you child would like to participate in the Mission Stay & have any questions please join us for a 5-10 minute meeting.

Join the youth after church on July 12th for a Mexican Fiesta Dinner! Join us for food, fellowship and a opportunity to support the Youth Mission Stay bring your whole family donations accepted. We will be having Tamales, Taco Bar, Enchiladas and the famous K Squared (Kent Kessinger’s) Salsa and chips.

Tonight after potluck (say 6:45ish) our building/site committee will meet to talk about our options. One thing we’re considering is upping our offer to buy Hawthorne. We’re also investigating the old Town and Country building as well as using newly-available rooms in Washburn Towers. Please come tell us what you think. Share your hearts with us. We’re excited to represent you and we’re trying to follow God’s lead but man, it’d be so great to hear from you. We’d love to have you pray for us as we move forward in this task. We need your input, your support, your ideas. Help us in any way you can!!
